That the grain used to make Kirin Beer is what the Kobe cattle won't eat. I bet you thought it was the other way around.

If you want to dry clean a kilt at the place I went, they charge an extra 10 cents per pleat. Outrageous!

After a professional massage, your head feels vaguely as though it is no longer attached to your body.

This being my last two weeks in Vietnam I've been eating a lot of dogs... HOT DOGS!

The butcher at the Saigon Co-Op supermarket told me that most Vietnamese are offended by the fact that there are a few people in this country who eat dogmeat, so the hot dog manufacturers go out of their way to make a really good quality sausage. They come one of three ways, beef, pork, and a combination of beef and pork with a natural casing. I told the butcher that in America most hot dogs add a lot of fillers and parts of the animal that aren't normally eatenby humans.

"Ewww!" he said. "Who would want to eat anything like that?"

So the best thing to eat in Vietnam is a hot dog. Believe it or not, most of them are made by a company that is owned by Hormel.

The day after a professional massage, the stuff you had worked on feels worse.

I learned today (actually the other day) that no matter if you think you're doing a good enough job, that you probably have room for improvement, or in my case as recently evidenced by the poorest most horrible performance evaluation in my 15 year fire department career (BY FAR), that even if you THINK you're doing a good job and HAD made improvements in your job performance, that it's STILL not enough.

I also learned that to APPEAR busy is sometimes 50 if not 75% of the freakin' battle.

Amazing. :td:

Read my underlined statement. He did say that.

It's all about comprehension.

I learned that the only way to get rid of that yellow "new topic" highlight is to go to the specific page in which the new posts have been posted, or else it will still be yellow.

I also learned it's not easy to explain 8-)
