Class of 2008!
So graduation is right around the corner for most of us... what a trip, huh?
at any rate, I'm curious to see where everyone is going to college! I'm going to be at CSU Long Beach, studying trumpet performance with Dave Evans or Rob Frear, haven't decided yet. I'm really excited to live in LA... unfortunately, my friend and I have to get an apartment, seeing as how I'm number 600 on the waiting list to get a dorm.....

I love Long Beach though, it's really nice, and it's right by the beach! what more could I ask for? =]fieldshowqueen wrote:OMG ... my daughter turned down CSULB in favor of Cal Poly Pomona (Kellog's Honors College) in the impacted Architecture Major program there. To think, she would have seen you! LOL

Say Hi to Rob Freer for me, we played together at the Queen Mary when we were in college.
Things to NOT miss in Long Beach: Casa Sanchez, corner of Anaheim and I think Termino St. Wonderful Carne Asada burritos.

"Schooner or Later" as seen on "Drive-ins, Diners, and Dives..." It's just south of CSULB and one block west of PCH at the southwest corner of 2nd Street and Marina. The absolute best breakfast and lunch spot in Long Beach.Hostrauser wrote:There's a Roscoe's Chicken & Waffles in Long Beach now, too.
