Ick. I'm a fan of minimalism, but have yet to hear something by him I like. Maybe it's because he's more of a melodic minimalist, repeating the same melody over and over. I like them initially, but quickly tire of it all.

Although, I will admit, after suffering through Truman Show, I don't remember being at all annoyed throughout The Illusionist...at least with the music.

I'm not a fan of minimalism, and thankfully Glass left that style behind about 30 years ago. Much of his more modern stuff is very lushly orchestrated, though his usage of repetition and subtle development isn't everybody's cup of tea.

Have you heard his "Heroes Symphony"? It's by far my favorite of his works.
