I really really like at LA. People ar epretty nice and diverse...I heard that people at berkley are pretty out there.. but then again, i think you guys should take a visit to the campus and take a look at the atmosphere.

If you're son is totally focused on business - NYU. Obviously, the city is bigger than L.A. (and even the SF Bay Area for that manner) with a wealth of opportunities.

Colder and farther? Yes, but if the idea is to spend a little time (hopefully not an eternity) in getting a degree in business, the option is ideal. I'm sure there will be days where he'll be able to come home for periods of time, but getting to see how the East Coast operates may help him succeed if he wants to come back and do business on the West Coast.
