hey does anyone have the flute solo "Poem, Griffes (G. Schirmer)" ?


does anyone have the oboe solo "Sonata in G Minor from Tafelmusik, Telemann (Bergmann-Schott)" ?

for the adition for all state california

Haha our first flute player has been memorizing Poem with her teacher for the last year and now they said that it is the audition piece.... how ironic! I hope she makes first chair at all state!

yeah i know its there but my director said that he was going to order them but i dont know when i would get it see as we are on break now and i dont really want to use my own money if i dont have to. but yeah
so if anyone had either of them it would help greatly! :?

Was it pure coincidence that your friend was practicing that piece? The all-state list is on a 4-year rotation so you can pretty much predict what the audition piece will be each year. I have poem somewhere in the abyss that is my room, as I auditioned with it a couple years back(did not like it at all), and if I have the time to find it, maybe I can send it to you, but I've been reaalllyy short on time lately so I dunno if that will happen. If you bug me enough over pm about it though maybe I can get it to you in the next couple of weeks. Best of luck!

No, I don't think she knew because when we found out she was quite surprised... you never know though.
