As much as I'd like to see Yamato pull off a California trifecta (with Esperanza and BD, all three champions would be from CA -- that would be a kick), I think they'll be a distant second.
i agree with phantom, blue stars are going to take it.
imho 2 points behind is a distant second
Teal Sound has just scored an 80.00. 5.55 pts higher then their last show in Jacksonville and 2.60 pts higher then their show in Tarboro. Suddenly 2 points doesn't seem all that out of reach.[/quote]
Ah, so true. Points jump leaps and bounds in D3. Yamato has a good chance of overpassing Blue Stars is only their colorguard will perform to the level they have been known for in the past 2 years, and if their drumline clicks in. Personally, they would have had a better chance if they performed on Thursday.
You say you have a son in Yamato? Seeing that you're from Moreno Valley, my guess whould be Daniel, but I could be wrong.

Wow...I was off by .05...Blue Devils win with a 98.80.
I can't believe that the season is over, but it has been an incredible season. Finally, my boys Phantom Regiment came back and kicked butt one more time, taking fourth place with a 94.75, .05 ahead of SCV. What a way to end a great year...congratulations to all of the corps though, especially Blue Devils...I can't wait to see them next year.
