My best friend's moving... what do I do?

Post by sabrebatgirl » Mon Jun 30, 2003 9:45 pm

Does anyone have any suggestions of how to cope with the pain? I'm so close to him, he's like a brother and I just found out that he's moving in 5 weeks and I can't deal with this...

Lots and lots of ferrero rocher because I know you love those. Sappy movies. Ice cream. Basically everything you crave while on a period, and crying with me. Or atleast crying on me.
Uh-oh for life!

Say what you want to say and just enjoy the last few moments you have with him. At least with the internet now you can communicate through AIM and such.

well, you should try to spend as much time with him as possible and go to the beach, movies, and boomers, stuff like that that he will remember. also make him swear that he will write you and keep in touch.

my best friends have moved away twice, but once I was 4 and the other time I was 6...so I dont have much good expierence, but if I were you I would accept the fact that they are moving. Then say everything you want to say to them to let them know what you want them to. How far is he moving?

I live in CA and he's moving to chicago, so it's pretty far. Thanks for all the suggestions guys. We definitely plan to keep in touch, and hopefully I will visit next summer.
