hey jess, it's good to hear from you !!well i am going to join the baritones cause gary kind of asked me to and i wanted to try something new . and , i really have to hand it to the brass players cause it's harder than it looks!!!

heck yeah! Being a trumpet player and therefore a brassman, I would encourage you to try something new...baritone should be a whole new learning experience. If I were you though, I'd stick to my first love. Sometimes switching instruments can be difficult (and woodwind to brass should be even more challenging...at least I think it should, I tried playing clarinet before and it didn't work out that well). Just know that to be proficient on the baritone/euphonium as I'm sure you were on the sax, it's going to take LOTS and LOTS of practice to get everything right. But I hope that you decide to go with whatever your heart wants to. Either way, God Bless you in your future endeavors!
