Just a Quick Question
The side bar indicates that i have 689 posts, while when I click on my name in the profile, it turns up 740 something matches.
And then I tried it with someone else's user name, and their post count is more than the number of matches in the profile
How does this work?

Hey! altohack
That is kind of weird on the difference of posting counting!
Your listing on the actual postings says 732, your profile says 732, searching your username as author say 481. Well, it seems your TOTAL post count is correct, 732 total postings since you joined on November 11th, 2002.
Apparently a mod deleted a bunch of posts that she thought were "too old"
The mod deleted thousands of old postings, so they no longer show up when a search is done, causing your "search" total to be less than your actual total. Luckily the database keeps a running total of your total postings, that number was not affected by those postings being deleted. I hope this explains it for you.
