OK Turner ... You were supposed to be at Etiwanda announcing for WGASC but you didn't show! I had the shirt and a VVHS collector pin for you and everything ... I am sooooooooo disappointed.

Oh...and I left my ghetto blaster down in the stands and told someone to make sure they recorded me....because, I just felt at the time that someday, my ship would come in and I would be announcing the Academy Awards and I'd get allllllllllllllllllllll kinds of offers to do voice overs and radio work and commercials and and and stuff....and Mary Hart from Entertainment Tonight would be interviewing me and ask breathlessly, "Where did it all START for you Ryan!?!?!? WHERE!!??" And I could pull out that tape and say, "My humble beginning..."
But alas....
I'm just the "Voice of Southern California".
Sigh.
And that's how I came to be....22 years later.
