World of Pageantry

My computer's been giving me problems, so on Friday I ordered a new one. It's a very nice system, and I expect it to be in by the time I get back from vacation on the 10th/11th.

So, to celebrate, I'll be compiling a new CD. Fans of my previous CDs (or of music in general) should take note. You can start sending me PMs with your mailing address if you want one.

The playlist is tentative, of course, but the idea for now is:

No, I don't have "Zacatecas." Personally, I don't think it's that great of a march. It's very, very easy.

Get a ripper program.

Basically, you just need software capable of pulling it off the CD. I use MusicMatch Jukebox for my ripping (pulling from CD) and burning (writing to CD) and MixMeister for my MP3 editing, mixing, etc.

Heh. I played that, too. But no, I don't have it. The only piece I have on CD by Robert Jager is "Esprit de Corps", and I don't like the recording because it's taken too fast.
