Weezer!

Post by Personal » Wed Jan 22, 2003 9:07 am

I was just wondering if there are any major WEEZER fans out there? I saw them this past summer in concert, and oh man are they good. I have liked them for about three years now, but I just saw them in concert, and as I said earlier, they were kick...um...butt.

Well, I also saw them in concert this past August, with Sparta and Dashboard Confessional *sigh*...I personally didn't like them that much in concert. They just kinda...played, and not in a super exciting way or whatnot until like the very end, when they seemed to get energy and stage presense. It was quite dissapointing. I do like their music though, and so that was a plus. Now, Dashboard Confessional was amazing...I love Chris Caraba, but that is my little bias for that particular show. Rock on!

always,

I love the weez! I can't wait for thier next cd. It's not due out for awhile but... yeah they're awesome. One of my favorite bands. Weezer was actually the last thing I would have thought to be on the message board...
suprisingly enough every one and thier moms have seen them in concert except for me... and that's fine. anyways before I get carried away

Heck yeah! You're right, WEEZER is the last thing that one would expect to see, which is why I decided to post it. I love WEEZER, and all that jazz. well, thats about it. If you get a chance to see them in concert, I think that it was the best thing I ever saw.

Just kidding. Probably one of the biggest fans of weezer on this board, heck, Southern California! I'm just kinda bummed that Album 5 wont be coming out for awhile...I hope Rivers doesnt pull another Pinkerton and ditch us all for 4-5 years.

So, what's everyone's favorite weezer song? =w=

A tough decision...If I could pick a song from each group...

Blue Album: Buddy Holly or Only In Dreams
Blue Album B-Side: My Evaline or Jamie
Pinkerton: ALL OF THEM
Pinkerton B-Side: I Just Threw Out The Love Of My Dreams (Rachel Haydn on lead vocals)
Green Album: Island In The Sun or Photograph
Green Album B-Side: Starlight or Always
Maladroit: Keep Fishin' (Single Version)
Maladroit B-Side: ???? If no one knew, there's actually like 3 B-sides for Maladroit...I'd pick a song called "Living Without You"

Phew...I know that's a lot...but I'm torn between...well, EVERY WEEZER SONG EVER MADE!!! The ones I had definite answers for barely beat out all the other songs on that album...

Favorite album by far is Pinkerton...

And I don't hate weezer...lol...I thought that'd raise some eyebrows...I just hate that it's taking so long...well, uh, 4 months is an eternity for me at least...maybe I should change my name to Weezer Man 05??

Yes I did hear about that recently. Doesn't look fake...looks like the picture was valid until 6 days after Pinkerton came out.

Good thing Rivers doesn't have that much hair now...YEESH...although he did grow that beard last year...I guess he really likes the hermit life.

Kinda funny too how they knew "Willie" McCool, one of the Columbia seven. Jeez...so sad...

On the other hand though, who's planning on getting the Weezer DVD??

Hey, "I Do" is a weezer B-Side! It was released in 2001 as a B-side to one of the Hash Pipe singles I believe. Not too sure on that though...its at www.weezer.com though... I like "Always" better though.
