Big Drop of People on WoP

Post by altohack » Sat Dec 06, 2003 10:50 am

Wow. Our marching season is over, but I still have friends going to antelope valley, so I decided to check whether or not there were any predictions.
My dad looks over my shoulder n sees the "2 users online" when only a few weeks ago there were 110. He remarks... season is over, what are you still doing here?

Is WoP truly a year round thing?
Or is it time for me to start focusing on school, until summer rolls around with DCI championships?
No regrets

When marching season ends, people start to talk about concert season or if they're in drum corps, they talk about how great the corps is and what they're doing and DCI related things. But true indeed, WOP is most lively during marching season.

I've been grounded because I spent too much time on this site instead of doing my homework.

Nice devotion!

Actually, marching bands go from the busiest forums to one of the dullest forums. The official SCSBOA/WBA competitions are over...the only thing is really Drumline, Colorguard, and the DCI groups, all of those have a forum of thier own.
Yes, WoP is a year round thing, just that you can't have much to talk about if nothing is happening.

year round

Post by iminguard » Sat Dec 06, 2003 8:15 pm

personally for the marching season im all about the marching band forum for the whole season , hardly ever looking at the colorguard section then when winterguard starts im all about the colorguard section , hardly ever looking at the marcing band section. so in a way its a year round thing just in different parts of the whole forum.

maybe when second semester starts there will be more stuff on some of the competitions
but i guess since my high school doesnt do any second semester competitions, its going to be more quiet in the mb sections
