Christmas Presents for Friends

Post by altohack » Mon Nov 24, 2003 4:26 pm

What do you buy friends for Christmas if you don't know what to buy them... but you have to buy them a gift because they're a pretty good friend?
No regrets

x-mas gifts

Post by RifleLova » Mon Nov 24, 2003 5:14 pm

Try to think of your inside jokes and go off that. That's what i like to base it on. My friend and i make jokes about cows ALL the time so i might get her a cow stuffed animal or something...
Well i dunno what to get my boyfriend!! We haven't been going out too long and i'm not really sure what to get him, how much to spend...ah!! Help someone help!
Pearl Madison: I'm only human.
Leland: How come people only say that when they've done something wrong?

if you think and think and think and you still don't know what to get them, just get them a gift certificate to their favorite store or something.

oh man, i so know how you feel about not knowing what to get the boyfriend. my boyfriend and i have been together for about 2 months now, but i have no idea what to get him for christmas. i don't know of anything that he wants because if i see something that i think he'll want i don't wait for christmas i just buy it right then. maybe you should ask some of your guy friends what they would want or ask some of your girl friends what they'd get their boyfriend. ask him what some of his favorite bands or music artists are. i don't know, but if i think of anything i'll let you know.

I have the boy dilema too, I had no idea what to get him for his birthday and now Christmas is coming up, ahh! But I'm kinda lucky, I'm friends with one of his good friends, so I think I'll go shopping with him. Then for my friends, well, the ones that are good enough friends to be getting presents I don't really have a problem buying for. I think girls are easier because most of them you can just get a gift certificate, or clothes or somehting. But maybe I just think that cause I'm a girl. Heh.

If you like to/can cook, baked goods are not only a really good present that everyone likes (who wouldn't love getting a batch of fresh cookies or a cake or something?), but easy and really cheap, too. (All my friends are getting baked goods for Christmas and their birthdays this year because I have no money. :P) Otherwise just get them something silly based on interests or jokes or whatever that will amuse them. And gift certificates but that's been said.

Yeah..I agree. And when I make the bear, I always dress it in something that will spark up an inside joke or something like that.

Also, I know Stoneridge Mall has gift certificates you can get for any store at the mall (besides Macy's). That's always a good gift because it gives the person you're buying it for a wide range of stores to choose from. :)

With the actual amount of time I spend here (too much)...I guess I'm a year old. But only in time spent.
