lol i played the beta 1.6 before
it was alrite
it got updated so i dun have the copy yet cuz im on 56k and im not bout to dl that big file

AHHH I HATE COUNTER-STRIKE!!!
i mean it's a FUN and ADDICTING game but all the n00bs, "h4x0rs", and alot of bs stuff happens which ruin the game. i havent tried 1.6 yet. I do not play CS anymore mainly because i dont like the half life engine (the source of a lot of problems). I cant wait for HL2 to come out... if it ever does (dumb hackers). The only half life mod i would tolerate myself to play is Day of Defeat.

btw i got my sn from counterstrike (knife sniping on De_dust)
maps i've tried knife sniping (knife sniping frags total in my knife sniping career)
De_dust - 6 or more frags
As_Assault - 2 frags

My HL mod days have ended dont ask me to play with ya!

Xbox CS will take out the main problem of the PC version: HACKERS. When I get my xbox back from repair I'm going to get a copy of CS.

counter stirke has gone down the tube since it's beginnings in the betas like 2-3 years ago.. since than its gone to retail and everything has been just totally messed up.. on the other hand its a fun addicting game that passes the game.. i agree that the best mod is Day of Defeat.. its just a good mod.. and i agree that the half life engine has been run dry. im tired of seeing half a models running around in half a enviornments.. and the xbox verson my brother bought and ive seen him play it. and i refuse to play it.. its just another attempt to get as much money out of the half life such as possible.. halflife/counter stirke is a pc game.. and not everyone hacks.. so yea.. oh well wow i sound like a geek.. GOODTIMES! ok yea so thats my such on it

ps my name in 1.6 (even thought i HATE IT SO MUCH!) is Beef its what for dinner

hmmm yea I used to play Cal-I and Cal-O leagues.. off this year cuz of school and all that other stuff. Now, if I have time I usually play UT2K3 or Q3. Still waiting for UT2K4 and HL2 to come out

Counter-strike has gone down the drain, i agree with TMRsaxyDM. Although I don't hate it like he does, i still play it all the time. But I have to agree with him again that Day of Defeat is the best mod of Half-Life right now. The Best!

I can't wait for HL2 to come out. I'll definitely shell out the money to upgrade my GeForce 2 to whatever card is needed to play that game. Seeing that demo video looked sweet and that was taken from a guy with a camera filming the monitor. If it looks great on that then it'll look even better on the screen.
