Is anyone else excited about gobble day?

Post by Shrekinet » Wed Nov 19, 2003 9:41 pm

oh man, thanksgiving is a fun fun holiday. yep, mainly because at my house it means no school and a grip of food! it's also sad, because it's a reminder that the season is coming to an end. =/. man, i don't like high school right now...it's going by waaaay too fast. well i hope everyone is enjoying this year and they have a nice, plump, juicay toykey.

Just wait until your a senior. It can't go by any slower...you have the marching season, all the tests, and the college apps, pressure builds until BOOM, its all over and you can't believe it.

Turkey...oh my mouth waters just thinking about it. Its doubly good considering its actual good food....

And football day on Thanksgiving.
Cowboys vs. Dolphins...the goold old classic.

Oh. My. Wow. Thanksgiving is my FAVORITE holiday ... wait, it's my FAVORITE day of the year! I love thanksgiving ... well mostly because that's all my favorite foods combined and you get to relax (well after you finish cooking & cleaning). You get days off to EAT. How cool is that?

Ooh! I can't wait. I haven't seen my Dad's family since last Christmas, so I'm really excited. I'm not too excited about the actual food, though... well, because 1) I hate food in general and 2) People get offended if you don't eat a whole lotta their turkey which is just annoying. *sheesh*

Dr. Joe told me that I have to be extra careful & watch my calorie intake for the next couple of weeks. I move around a lot, and I injured my ankle so it would be easy for me to gain weight since I won't be as active. Which means I shouldn't go buck-wild on the turkey at Thanksgiving

I am so ready for it. All you can eat stuffing/turkey/potatoes/perogies/polish sausage. Those last two come from my Polish heritage. I love Thanksgiving. However, I find myself heavier afterwards...whatev...

I'm ready to eat and sleep from all the turkey. Family is always nice to visit especially as a little break before the onslaught of finals.

Bleh...
Are finals as bad as everyone makes them out to be?

Anyway...Friday is official left-over day...and recovery day.
