Same here, J. I sometimes wonder, too.clarinet_j wrote:Sometimes my mind wanders off when things are going bad in band and I wonder what it's like to be in one of those better bands.. but I realize that these people in this band with me are like my family, and I'm not going to leave my family, even if I had the choice.
Where else would you go??

Besides, they don't wear kilts how kilts should be worn

There was Logan...hours and hours before they performed, doing a full fledged rehearsal.
Now that shows dedication.

One with a big guard. I don't care which one, just a big one. I just want to try it for like a week and see what it's like to be on a guard of like 70+ people
Then I think the drama would get to me and I’d be out.
I’d also like to see what it's like to have big band (we've got around 150 or 160 plus or 32 member guard rounds us up to around 190).
I just wonder what it's like and how the directors/section leaders handle it. And how they practice. I’ve always wanted to see some of the powerhouse bands practices (arcadia, rb, mt carmel, chino). I just have this huge curiosity as to what they do different, I don’t know I’m weird like that.
