Special Announcement

Post by Puck » Tue Dec 03, 2002 9:14 am

I have a special announcement to make to the group (or all those interested). This Thanksgiving I flew out to New York to spend the holiday with my boyfriend. We were also celebrating our 2-year anniversary and his birthday. I was planning on proposing to him (his ring was his birthday present), but he ended up proposing to me first! Needless to say we're very happy to announce our engagement. No date has been set yet, we've both agreed that it'll be a long engagement (we're thinking about 2 years). Just thought I'd let you guys in on the happy news! :)

Thank you guys!

Yes, we both have rings. I bought his, but he gave me my grandmother's ring, it's nice to have an heirloom.

Living in NY or CA isn't the question, it's where we're getting married! My family is in CA, his is in NY. Although we'll probably get married in CA, we'll both be living in NY (after I get my Bachelor's of course).

One thing I love about weddings is the free food. That and also if the bridesmaids are closer to my age like the last wedding I went to.

Congrats! I just love hearing about people getting engaged or married. When people are in love it shows on their face and makes everyone around them happy. Congrats again and may have an eternity of happiness together.

That's why I want to have a HUGE reception. Anyone who wants to come is welcome!
