To the actual instrument itself, there is honestly nothing you can do, except for maybe putting some speed holes in it to make you play faster...just kidding...However, to the case, that is a different story. Like [UCI]-Mike said, slap a few stickers on it, put some speed holes in it, and you are ready to go.

People at my school put feathers on their instruments. I don't know why, but it's really funny cause if they march together the feathers all go the same way and it's cool. And then this year the guard has fringe and lots of it falls off, so some people tie it to their instruments and this one guy has a whole tassle thing going. I don't know if this is what you wanted but yeah. That's my 2 cents.

I put black electrical tape on every kind of joint possible to find on a baritone, and it looks like as if I put stripes on my car, except on my baritone...

Oh yeah. I almost forgot about that horn. I guess someone was trying to mod it and it ended up how it is now. I heard they wanted to paint it blue or something.

This summer I am planning on buying the cheapest, worst, wooden clarinet I can find, then experiment on bleaching and dying it. I just want to know if it will work.

I have toe rings on the slide of my trombone and we had paper clips dangling form our baritones, but after they come off and you step on them and bleed, you tend to take them off. I'm gonna try and "modding" my mouthpiece and have a little skull on the top of it to match my ring. I dunno if it'll work, but it sure as hell would be cool!
