Keep working on the same practices that will improve your range and control. Arpeggios, lip slurs, etc. Really isn't a big trick to it: the stronger you become overall, the stronger you'll be in individual areas.

practice playing the notes soft first and holding them out for a long time
work on your air flow
many different exercises you could do like getting a piece of paper and putting it against the wall and using your air to keep it there
so hope that helps

You could buy a plant and play trumpet to it and then when it grows and grows it will magically let you play screamers better.

I'm in guard and have no clue what I'm talking about, but I'm watching the end of 28 Days and if you've seen the movie, you'll know what I'm talking about.

what's a screamer?
just a high note?

anyway. trumpets should have octave keys to get the double high stuff.

just work low tones for like half an hour a day. then work on what every one else had input with it really works.

screamer basically jus loud high note
lol its not that simple for brass to play high notes with octave keys...
im assuming ur a woodwind player or something
but yea it takes air and good lips, not just a simple key change

There is an octave key!!! It's called putting both hands on the bell, and pulling as hard as you can!
