San Bernadino Fire

Post by RifleLova » Sat Oct 25, 2003 10:36 pm

This fire is so scary  ! i dunno if a topic has already been made about this but i thought i would just mention it. Its so close to my house, i think we'll be evactuated soon but that scares me, which makes me realize what others have gone through. The fire is so fast and thick and the ashes are so scary!! I just pray for all the people who are evacuated, the people soon to be and for everyone! i can't believe it was started by an arson...which really SUX cuz if they mean't it then they are so mean and i hope they feel bad/guilty for what they have done. :x I hope this is contained soon enough that schools in Rancho and other places are in session this week because that would be a good sign. Bonne Chance to all :?
Pearl Madison: I'm only human.
Leland: How come people only say that when they've done something wrong?

Does anyone know how this effects the Metrolink trains?

I have to take a train to San Bernadino station in order to get back to the University.
Too late to call them, and my train is fairly early.
Any input is great!

We're pretty far away from there and the smoke and ash is even heavy over here, so I can't imagine how it is for the people closer. A few years ago there was a big fire right here that spread to about 100 feet from my back yard, it was really scary. I hope everyone's ok!

my aunt lives out there and was evacuated last night. i would like to say that i have a huge respect for rancho cucamonga marching band and colorguard! they went and performed last night even though our instructor told us that had been evacuated. that amazing that they still showed up at the competion even throught the hardships they are facing.

I also have respect for them because not only did they come and perform, their guard won the auxiliary caption. I'm glad t osee they aren't letting what's happened get their spirits down.
