Isn't it funny how when we were like 7 we used to go "When I get older I'm going to go to sleep as late as I want and never go to bed early." And now were all sitting here going "I wanna be 7 again!!!!"

Yeah, I’m usually up till 2am with hw and stumbling out of bed at 5:30/6:00am to be at school by 7am

Monday night's are killers cause we have 3 hour practice's and I usually have history notes due the next day.... needless to say I’m a zombie on Tuesdays

Yeah, I find it interesting that in kindergarten they have naptime (which not one kindergartner actually sleeps in) and in high school we are begging for it.

I firmly believe if they offered naptime it be the one class that every high schooler took all four years without it being a requirement. Everyone would get to this class on time and stay over. But instead they require us to be awake and alert for about 6 hours a day.

Plus there have been rumors about starting school later. Would that be the best thing ever or what??? Sure it means ending later, but I’d take that any day over having to get up at freakin 5:30 so I can be dead in all my classes.

When will the public school system get a clue???

I wish I could avoid 8am classes...but I'm just a freshman and we register last...meaning I get 8am classes. Goodie goodie.

Don't ya find it funny how most elementary schools start at like 9 AM, but like all the little kids are already active in the morning? Then you got high schoolers in the morning that can barely walk to the bathroom without swaying back and forth. I think they should make it the other way around. Get the hyper elementary schoolers in at like 7:30-8 AM, and let the high schoolers get some rest and not get to school until like 9 AM. Ah, I would like the extra rest. :D

I have 1-7 this year, which means I wake up at 5 so I can shower and stuff and leave on time while having breakfast and pack up my crap to get to school by 6:45 for a 7 o'clock class and on Tuesdays and Thursdays I have 3-6 practices. Next semester if my journalism teacher allows it and I make the dance team and I sign up for night school in time, I'll be taking 9 classes.

So sleep really isn't that necessary. I can function for a week getting 2 hours a night and pulling a few alnighters, just as long as my good friend coffee is there to drag me out of my chomatose. Oh and I take 2 hours of dance on Wednesday nights and I'm always available to help the freshman, but they never ask. So that's not a problem very often.

See I'm weird, cause I would start school earlier to get out earlier. If there was a 6 am class that would get me out at 1 (i start at 7 and get out 2) I would take it. Heck I'd take a 4 am class and get out at 11. I think that would be perfect.

I wouldn't be able to do that. I would like it better getting up late and staying at school until later than getting up early and getting out of school in the morning.
