taking a study break ....
trolling WoP...
Started to get nostalgic....
so...
Remember when -
Members would post for the sake of trying to get the most posts... (btw I don't post as much as I use to and yet still I'm in the top three
)
When the main posters Formermarcher, Isnipewithknife, mskobie, and soe others I cannot remember would practically live on WoP....
the start of the Voice of So Cal fan club
that's all I can think of now...

Remember the old tree-branch style of WOP, before Dave converted over to the current phpBB format in 2002? I do.
Dang, I've been on the various incarnations of WOP for over a decade.

Remember when we had trivia and Mafia contests on Off-topic with about 30 plus ppl participating?
Remember when we used to argue the merits of WBA, vs. SCSBOA, vs. NCBA, vs. "other" states' circuits via analogies to different types of food?
Remember when we respected "old school" directors like those in the 70's from Arcadia, Loara, Western, Etiwanda, etc.?
Remember when there wasn't a "secret" teacher's/Director's forum?
Remember when vore was going to finish "The Book" (and yes John, I would actually read it IF you ever finish the damned thing)?
'bout it for now ... back to studying (and no, not the same classes as Wendy).

yeah... my one post makes up for the thousands of users that have been lost over the years. some of the forums are lucky to get 1 post a day.
