Verizon iPhone

I was looking forward to getting the iPhone when it comes out on Verizon. But now there is so much hype around it that it no longer seems worth it. I will never join AT&T, what a horrible carrier. I have now been with Sprint for ten years. But I am willing to change carriers to get the iPhone but only on Verizon. And then there is the whole discussion pertaining to 4G and LTE technology, which would seem to suggest waiting instead of buying the Verizon iPhone in the coming weeks. I just don't know what to do anymore. iPhone on Verizon: yes or no or wait?

If you want one then get one. Do not let all the hype or the decisions of others influence what you would like to do.

I think the
Palm Pre 2 comes out the same day, same carrier.

I currently have the Palm Pre Plus for verizon... might get the Pre 2 when it comes out...

I would wait, the iPhone on Verizon will probably be buggy at first and it will not support 4G. If the past tells us anything the iPhone 5 should be coming out in June, and I suspect it will support 4G. Besides the waiting list for the iPhone means you will take like 2 or 3 months to actually receive it.
