Homecoming is the 25th for us, but we can't go cause we have a comp. Not that I'd get a date anyway but yeah. It still kinda sucks.

Our Homecoming game and dance are on 10/10, both on the same night. Then we have the Etiwanda FT the next day, and then I have the PCC Honor Band audition. It'll be a busy week for me!

I never went to homecoming.....we always had band comps that I'd stay until the end...
I went to homecoming football games...cause I had to. I won't be at any this year, though...

Our homecomings November 2...its far away. They have this compulsive new no freak dancing rule and they want to keep the lights on. It's stupid.

Our game is the 24th and our dance is the 25th but we never go to the dance because we always have a comp and even if our time is early enough to make it back to go to half of the dance, they wind up adding about 6 more schools into the lineup the day of the dance. Last year one of my class on guard was going to go and at the practice lunch break before our comp I heard my instructor saying eight more schools were added. She couldn't go and she just sat there crying the whole way home. It was actually rather pathetic and stupid.

Last year people went to our homecoming even though it was on a comp, and the year before too. They got out early enough to go. This year we don't know yet, but as of now we're performing at 7:15 and the dance starts at 7 so it's probably not going to happen.

Because of my school's late homecoming, my band won't be able to perform at The Vista Field Tournament this year. I'm fine with it though. I think school events should be more of a priority over band events.

Did you guys have to reschedule because of homecoming, or was it already like that?
cause if ya had to reshcedule...I'd be a little amazed.

My school's game is this Thursday, and the dance is on Friday. Don't plan on going to the dance, though.
