who watches anime or reads manga?

hi everybody! i know this is waaaaay off the topic of being a band person/musician, but i also loooove to draw anime/manga! if anybody else out there has any faves to post...post them on this thread! here's a list of some of my favorite animes:

FURI KURI/FLCL/FOOLY COOLY: they just showed it on adult swim on cartoon network this summer, and i LOVED it! i had to go out and buy the dvds once i found them...and i even bought volume 1 of the manga!
AZUMANGA DAIOH: this anime is HI-larious! i was introduced to it through the anime club i'm in at college, and have been lovin it ever since...
NEON GENISIS EVANGELION: this has always been towards the top of my list cuz the story is waay creepy, but i absolutely love the animation (GAINAX knows their stuff [same with FLCL])
VAMPIRE PRINCESS MIYU: scary, Scary, SCARY...the first and last volumes at least...gotta love it, though. still needa find the ova...but i also bought the official soundtrack =)
RUROUNI KENSHIN (or SAMURAI X): the ova to this is so gruesome!!! but so cool!
COWBOY BEBOP: they have this on adult awim right now (mondays-fridays 1:30 a.m.). the opening theme "tank!" is really cool. it was even cooler when i got the movie as a graduation present! shweet!

...that's about it for now. i wanna hear what anyone else likes...IF there are some of you who do watch anime...i mean...there was a ddr thread in here...c'mon. so why not anime/manga? oh yeah! manga! i've read LOVE HINA and NEON GENISIS EVANGELION, and as you may already know...i own FLCL. let's go, everybody! post, Post, POST!!! =)

I used to watch all kinds of anime when I was a few years yuonger...now I find that I'd better not...and I don't get to watch much TV these days. Work work work work work.

I haven't watched much anime, but by far my favorite is Gravitation. I can't emphasize how much I love it

I used to attempt to draw anime, but over the years it's warped into kinda my own style.

um...the only manga i read is Marmalade Boy, which was a cheesy yet hillarious thing. lol, it was funny cuz when i read it people would only look at the pictures and see the characters making out. so they always refered to it as my "manga porn". hahahaha. well newhoo. yes, if you ever have time you should read Maramalade Boy if you're into the whole drama/hillbillyish/general hospital japanese style cartoon read.

Ooooooh man, Anime and Manga are my LIFE next to band. And it's so awesome that all my friends in band are into Anime and such too.
I used to be secretary of our schools' Anime club, but it sucked so I dropped it.
I've been into anime for 5+ years now. I went to Fanime Con this past summer...and it ROCKED. All the money I get goes to Japanese import Manga and guard uniforms.

But yeah I don't watch any of the su\tuff on Cartoon Network, because english dubbed anime SUCKS TOAST. The best stuff is fansubs or pirated/imported stuff. I'm really into Yami no Matsuei, Shoujo Kakumei Utena, Hikaru no Go (I CAN'T BELIEVE they're putting it into Shonen Jump!! Damn Viz!!), Bishojo Senshi Sailormoon (yes I AM a moonie), Fushigi Yuugi and X/1999. I like lots of others too...but too darn many to name. I'm a HUGE Yaoi/Shounen Ai fangirl, and I don't mind Yuri/Shoujo Ai either. heheh...and I will admit, I have a small hentai collection.

But shh! Don't tell!! lol
