We've lost another major figure today, News media Icon, Walter Cronkite, dies at age 92. Television news has not been the same since he retired.

Brad, you are so right! When you thought of integrity you thought of Walter Cronkite. I began watching the news when I was an 8 year old and from that time there was no substitute for the CBS Evening News. I especially enjoyed his love of space exploration, something that I am enthusiastic about as well. But he never candy coated anything he reported and could be counted on to tell it like it was. Unfortunately since his retirement in 1981, the CBS Evening News has deteriorated since he left although the anchor before Katie Couric took over Bob Schieffer did an acceptable job in keeping it honest when he reported the news. RIP Walter, there will never be another one like you! :(
