Formermarcher: 5-9
MCClarinetDude: 9-5
Phantom Phan: 9-5

We both have Carolina and St. Louis. Looks like it's coming down to Monday night points... again.

Looking back over my picks I noticed that I neglected to specify PHL OVER DAL, and left it as the original setup (DAL at PHL). Hopefully my notes were clear enough to everyone to convey that Philly was my pick?

Well, your note was clear enough, so I guess that's cool.

Phantom, we have a bit of a problem: both of us have a total score of 41 points for the Monday Night game! Are we just gonna be co-champs for the week or do you want to find another way to settle it?

Choose a final score for the game. The second tiebreaker can be point-spread: whoever's closest to the final margin of victory. I think this would actually favor you, in fact, because my spread is so large (St. Louis +21).

Or you could just change your "total points" by one (to 40 or 42), making my 41 the over/under line. Up to you.

Eh, it's all right. :)

I think we need to set an official 2nd tiebreaker just in case this thing ever happens again. What do you guys think?

I agree, since this seems to be happening every week. How about we make the second tie-breaker the score of the winning team?

Why don't we use the Sunday Night game that is played on ESPN? If there is a tie going into Monday night, then we can use the Sunday night score if we have to.
Thats what yahoo does, anyway.

Week 15 schedule

Post by MCclarinetdude » Tue Dec 09, 2003 10:10 pm

Those are both good ideas. I'd be cool with using either one of them. Well anyway, here's this week's schedule:

Minnesota at Chicago
San Francisco at Cincinnati
Atlanta at Indianapolis
Detroit at Kansas City
Jacksonville at New England
Pittsburgh at New York Jets
Seattle at St. Louis
Houston at Tampa Bay
Buffalo at Tennessee
Dallas at Washington
Cleveland at Denver
Baltimore at Oakland
Carolina at Arizona
Green Bay at San Diego
New York Giants at New Orleans

Monday Night:
Philadelphia at Miami total score

Good luck! 8-)

Let's do total score for Monday night game (1st tiebreaker) and total score for the Sunday night game (2nd tiebreaker).
