I say it was the best...cause it is.

You apply to colleges and take tests...and thats tough while keeping up your grades. Then you get so busy...its sort of like an adrenaline rush..but only when it gets busy.

But after December...ah, life is good.
All you have to do is maintain your grades as the year dwells on.
You get your college letters back...some joys and some dissapointments...
And as it gets closer to spring break, senior-itis sets in. And this is 100% senior-itis as in can only happen to seniors at this stage. You have just over a month left...you just need to maintain grades...and you know where you are going to go for college.

THEN THE YEAR TAKES FOREVER TO END!!! You just slip away...it happens to everyone...even the valedictorians...

But looking back now...I couldn't imagine having just one year left. It'd drive me crazy...

"Its not what you do or what you say, but HOW you do it that matters the most"

Euphoniums Rule!!! wrote:I'm taking:

1 Spanish IV AP
2 Wind Ensemble
3 English IV: British Literature
4 Calculus I AP
5 Economics/Civics
6 Biology AP
7 Marching Band/Jazz Band

you know what's weird? you can sort of tell by peoples schedules what school they are from. I can tell no one's from my school because I'm considered a "slacker." I'm a senior. I can't believe how anyone can have less than the entire day of class. Maybe that's why I'm always so tired?
They call that slacking? Heh. This is the schedule of a real slacker (my bf) Not sure of the order but somehting to this effect

1. civics
2. jazz band
3. english
4. music appreciation
5. marching band
6. orchestra
7. --

2 acedemic classes and everything else is band. Also, at my school most people don't have a full day 1-7, in fact most seniors have 1-5 or 2-6.

Junior year has to be the best so far for me:
0-Orchestra (only on wednesdays, and I don't get credit because it's not an actual class)
1-English 11A
2-Trig/pre-calc A
3-C++ programming (nobody else seems to be taking this, it's way easy too)
4-Chemistry A
5-Ph|24nc415 III (french teacher hates it when I do that)
6-Marching Band (it says advanced on the schedule, and I'm hoping that I get a grade bump for it to inflate my GPA even more)
7-Jazz Band

It's funny because it seems like a lot of work, but the french III class is integrated with a french II class, so the french III class gets the first half to do the homework that they were supposed to have done anyway. C++ is pretty much the same way, everyone does homework during transition and the teacher doesn't care. English has 'discussion points' where you just need to talk more than three times a day to get extra credit, so I'm going past 100%. Like I said, not much work, and my friend has a schedule almost identical to mine (just replace chem with econ and that's his, so I have loads of fun having six classes with a friend).
It's a matter of course
