So for September 4th, season opener, who do you think will win it?
Will the Jets beat the Redskins, or will an upset take place?

I forgot to put in my prediction!

I think that although the Jets are expected to win, the Skins will pull off the pening day win. I think the Jets are still a bit shaky after they lost thier QB. The Skins have the potential to be big on the defense, and combined with the sakiness, they will win.
But I expect this to be a low scroing game.

My Prediction- Skins 10-7

I agree: the Jets are a dangerous team with Chad Pennington at QB, they're merely an average team with Vinny Testaverde at the helm. Letting Laverneus Coles go in the offseason will really haunt the Jets this year (but this game, especially, since he's on the Redskins now).

Look for the Redskins to win handily, with a big game from the Skins' defense and WR Coles.

Redskins, 31-10.

Well, today's the big day.
If you still want to leave a post, the game starts at 6:00pm, pacific time. The poll will stop working at that time.

Final Score:
Redskins 16
N.Y. Jets 13

I missed the beginning of the game. Well actually, I missed most of the game because I was posting on here. Anyway, by the way the score looks, it looks like that the game was close. It came down to that game-winning field goal in the final seconds. I guess that's all I can say about it.

The first half was a delight! A very good game, until the second half.
And thats the thing that happened with the skins alot last year. They'd have a good first half and then play really crappy in the second half and end up losing.
I mean, check out Ramsey's stats. Near perfect QB rating, made all but one or two passes. Second half, less than 50 yards, two turnovers, and a complete pass percentage under 60%.

The Redskins actually dominated most of the game. It was only some sloppy play and a couple of turnovers that kept the game close.
