What it's all about is... RATINGS RATINGS RATINGS
The big name schools all draw in significantly more money, so they gave it to them. Is it fair? No. Should they do it? No. But in the interest of keeping the money flowing, it's marginally understandable. Boycott if you want, but my coin-flip bracket is staying in.
