Rose Parade Float Decorating

Post by fieldshowqueen » Tue Dec 02, 2008 6:44 pm

My daughter Leah and I have decorated Rose Parade floats for Fiesta, Charisma and Phoenix Decorating for the past 5 years. She is training to be an Assistant Crew Chief with Phoenix but is now enrolled in Cal Poly Pomona, so we are unsure of when and where we will be on any one day, but it will more than likely be at the Rosemont Pavillion across from the Rose Bowl.

If anyone wants to pop by and do the tour and say "hi" from 12/26 to 12/30, you can see us on the Kiwanis float. Leah may have to give 5 or more hours to the Cal Poly float for her Honor's College hours requirement, but we don't know her hours there yet (thus she may not be at Rosemont).

If by chance you need community service hours and wish to be insane with glue, seed, scaffolding and/or flowers on a HUGE craft project, let me know by PM when you are available. Phoenix Decorating and Kiwanis would like a minimum of 8 hours on any one given day if possible. I will need to know in advance so I can tell the community service gurus to expect you. Dry dec with seed is 12/7, 12/13 and 12/20 9 am to 5 pm; wet dec with flowers is 12/26 to 12/29 8 am to 4 pm and 4 pm to 11 pm.
