. . . don't keep going to the Italian restaurant and complaining that you don't like the food. Find a place that serves food you like and go there.

Why was this moved? It is 100% about marching band.

I don't know where this was posted before it was moved but I would assume this was a metaphor (italian being....hmmmm...scsboa?) and a mod thought you were looking for restaurant suggestions? HAHA!!!!

I love good Mexican food...it satisfies, I know what to expect and even though some recipes are different a taco is still a taco and the Chips and Salsa are always on the table...

Uhhhhhhhhhhh....

You know in my vain attempt to lose a few pounds, all this metaphorical crap is only making me miserable.

And we all know Mexican food is FAR better than Italian food...RIGHT BUCS!?!?!?

Italian food might not be your favorite, but it has some great things to offer, and you might even find it's an acquired taste!

sigh.......I see moving this back to the marching band forum was the WRONG move, once you get people started on food, it's all over....back on topic folks. And stopping making dieting Ryan miserable.

Right on the money Chaproch! :yeah: This is a still a free country (at least for a few more weeks...but I digress). I find it interesting that there is this ongoing desire to constantly bash SCSBOA. If groups are unhappy with it, or don't like the format, or the adjudication system, or whatever about it...go to MBOS...or go to WBA....or go to SCJA...point is, there are other options. No one is forced to be a part of what SCSBOA has to offer. There are obviously plenty of goups that do like what is offered.

I'll admit that I don't know all the in's and out's of how SCSBOA is run. I would imagine, like any volunteer organization, if you desire change...you have be involved from the inside, not just sitting on the sidelines complaining about it. Nothing can be more irritating to those that do give of their time in an organization in trying and make it better than to have Monday Morning Quarterbacks and Back Seat Drivers constantly complaining, but never stepping up themselves.

It is what it is...you can CHOOSE to be a part of it or move on to another circuit. It will either prosper or others will overtake it in time and it will go the way of GM, Ford and Chrysler.

HOLD ON! I thought we were talking about food?! I'm not bashing Italian food, I like Italian food especially from the Mom and Pop place on the Street corner...
Acquired taste...EXACTLY what I was thinking!
When I want Mexican food I prefer the Machaca Burrito (With Guacamole And Sour Cream, of course) Or just Salsa and chips will satisfy my hunger too...
Ryan - Mexican is OK in moderation...try it once a week from October to November...
I hope EVERYONE tries the Mexican food. You never know, you might like it!

I was not referring to any specific association/circuit. I was just, in a humerous way, pointing out that we have choices. :D
