If any of you have seen anybody play DDR, whats the most extreme thing you've seen?

When I was up in San Fransisco, there was this one guy who was dancing both pads to a high-paced song. He got every step perfect. I thought that was kinda crazy.

Man, how many DDR's have they made? Well anyway, I'm not a big DDR player, and I really suck at it, but the wierdest thing I've ever seen on DDR was when this guy was playing a very fast song, and he wasn't facing the screen!!! How can anybody do THAT?

My old junior high had DDR machines and you could use them after school or during lunch.

 REALLY??? Wow, that's pretty cool. This is the first time that I have ever heard of a school having arcade games on campus!

Man I'm old school with this. I was playing that back when it was only 2nd, 3rd and 4th mix was new. I hate getting crowds though when I play. Those little kids watching annoy me too cuz they've got so much time on their hands that they already know the moves memorized.

I love Stomp to my Beat, Dream A Dream, Dam Dariram, and a bunch of others.

Oh, I play all the old songs...as well as some new ones. Personally, I love crowds and kids, because the majority of the people don't know how to play...then they admire you!
Perosnally, I prefer to do:
DMX, Era, Afranova, and the paranoia's.

DDR is pretty cool, and I like to watch people play the stupid thing, but I myself suck at it. First of all, I have no rhythm, so the mere sight of me dancing is enough to make anybody's day. And then, my friends always make me play it just to get a good laugh. But I end uyp laughing at myself also. So...

i learned marking time to the beat in the begining or when u arent hitting any pads helps. the game is fun i like to play the easy songs. i'm actualy not that bad for not really playing at all. now if i had practice i'd be somthing.

I thought I was the only one that marked time. Doing the drumline "duts" also helps. During silent parts between musical phrases I go "DUT DUT DUT DUT!" and people stare at me weird.

what would be cool is a marching band version of DDR
instead of arrows pointing to music
it's a DM giving u commands and stuff like that while listening to a beat. !

The philosophy to the game:
If your any good, you like it.
If you are not good, or never have played it, you hate it and think everyone who plays it is wierd.

I think ddr is really fun but i'm horrible at it! my friend across the street has it on playstation so i go over there sometimes to play. I'm so bad at it though, I'm probably very funny to watch.
