Police showed up with a search warrant on my apartment.... Lets just say its not fun being handcuffed for 3 hours while they turn your place upside down.

Ouch. What was the warrant for?

Either way, hope you have fun burning couches, today.

You don't wanna know and I don't know if I should even say...

I didn't do anything illegal but it wasn't a pleasant experience at all. I'm an upstanding citizen and I wouldn't do anything that would a hamper a military career path and my 2A rights (which I believe is more important than my life).

I wasn't even named in the warrant but I was detained anyway. My room is still a freakin mess... Its just not the same anymore sleeping in a room that has been invaded in such a way.

You can sue the cops and the city if their info was wrong.

That would a serious cramp in my style. I'm assuming the cops were at the right place, just you weren't the target of the warrant? I'm no legal expert, but it seems reasonable that they would be allowed to detain you in that case if you were hindering their investigation.

Good luck fixing the room.
