I am getting totally sick and tired of the spammers disrupting our forum, so tonight I am going to disable the forum and do a complete upgrade to thye new, most secure version of the software. So don't be alarmed when you come to visit and the forum is turned off! It probably won't look the same after the upgrade is done, so I will be be working on restoring our look and style over the following days.

It took me a while to learn the new source code for phpBB version 3.0.X, so sorry it took so long to finish the upgrade. I am not sure I caught all the edits that I need to make to make all the pages display properly, so if you find a page that looks messed up please send me the URL so I can fix it! Thanks.

PS - everybody will have to re-enter their birthdates, the convertion script couldn't transfer the old data from the mod that I did to include the birthdays in the old board.

I'm having trouble with the new software. If I choose not to read a thread, it keeps it orange forever. On the old site, it only marked threads unread that had been posted on since my last visit. Now I have threads where the last post was 6 days ago still marked as new.

Unless there's an automatic way in the new forum, you have to do it manually now. At the top right corner, just click "mark forum read" at the end of every session.

I went and entered my birthday again and I was a bit concerned for Ryan. When I clicked the arrows to choose my birth year I noticed that it only started around 1902 or so. What is H going to do? His year isn't listed. :rotf:

On a more serious note. The main board page on my computer looks all out of sorts. The board is shoved off to one side because of the Mod control panel link. I also have text links that are all disjunct and overlaid on the graphics. I don't know if this is a software issue or maybe just my computer.

I haven't had any issues with the display, everything seems copacetic on my end. I'm running the newest version of Firefox on a Mac OS.
