Do you mean weighted as in AP classes on a 5 point scale? or Weighted as in Tests are 50% of your grade, the final is 20% homework is 15% and quizzes are 15%?

Hah. I wish that was true at my school. In many of my classes, nobody even comes close to an A.

It doesn't matter what the high school does. Any university you apply to is going to apply their own weight to different grades. Any job you take straight out of high school isn't going to care what your GPA was (just that you have a diploma).
