Yeah, but a 100-mile commute in Montana only takes about 75-80 minutes. My 11-mile commute in central San Diego usually takes me about 45 minutes.

I don't mind being in the car for long periods of time, but doing it on a frequent basis is expensive. Gas prices aside ( ) just maintaining a car that sees high mileage is expensive. I used to work ten miles from where I lived and that was too much. When the office moved into downtown last month and the commute became twenty miles, I switched to telecommuting.

Oh, and as far as traffic is concerned, you should all move to SLO. We have 2 lanes in either direction on 101 (which is our only freeway) and there's NEVER traffic.
It's 5:00... do you know where your ancestors came from?

I can say that I am truly blessed by not having to go through the pain of losing someone "before their time". I see these these on peoples cars and I also see the makeshift memorieals on the sides of roads occasionally. I suppose the pain of losing a loved one, many of these instance being needless circumstances, motivate people to place the stickers on their windows to help with their recovery.

I guess the good thing is that they probably don't care what some of you think about them either
