patriots will win, whether or not it'll be close is very uncertain.

I just want to see an entertaining game. No blow out, no domination. An old fashioned battle of two opposing teams.

Never rule out the possibility of an upset, though...

Giants 38-35

That would be quite the upset... :P

Me, Ill be laughing at the big crowds at Disneyland. Everyone thinks Disneyland is uncrowded on Super Bowl Sunday. So everyone and their Mother (cause daddy is at home watching FOOTBALL!) shows up for the day.

I am off for the Lunar New Year for the week and NO ONE TELL ME THE SCORE...

The only way to watch the Super Bowl here is to know someone with connections with the U.S. military or hook in on a satellite transmission of AFN channel 69. Someone is sending me a recording (in bits and pieces), so I will get to watch it...

In the meantime, I am ignoring anything with references to the score...

STAR SPORTS ASIA (owned by the same company that owns Fox) is showing their version of football at the time of the Super Bowl--soccer!

Nope ... not even those. We have always avoided the larger amusement parks too, Fluba, thus going to San Diego WAP (the zoo is a zoo like DismalLand that day). Looks like those plans might get wiped out however ... high here is supposed to be 45 and snowy this evening (our house is at 1980 ft.). Plan C? Paint the kitchen.

As much as I would really like the Giants to win because of my strong dislike of the Patriots, I don't think they have what it will take to win, sadly.

i hold a strong belief that the chargers were the 2nd best team in the nfl this year, only behind the patriots. to see the giants win would just seem demoralizing.

While I may agree with you in some sense I know that this is why the playoff system is in place and runs the way it does. It is designed to give every team a chance to make it to the show. It favors the top teams with first round bye weeks, and then it challenges the teams on the bubble with the whole wild card game, forcing them to play a team much better than them. If they are able to jump through the hoops and earn their way into the big game then more power to them.
