Iowa is little more than glorified county, let alone a state. Is there any difference betwwen either side?

There is some difference. Most of Iowa is flat plains, but the NE corner has rugged hills and conifer forests (in Iowa?! Yes, in Iowa). It's worth noting that very few states have geographical and demographic variances that California does.

Flickr link to Q#20.

My hosting site has been unreliable recently, but I prefer direct-linking the images here. I will continue to do Flickr as needed.

Looking ahead to March, is there interest in another round? If so, are there suggestions, improvements? (Other than "don't let fieldshowqueen play"; I've already heard that one.)

OK ... tell you what ... I won't "officially" play the next round but will give Hostrauser my answers on the side just to see how I do. If that's not OK, I'll need March off anyway. I'm trying to do the scholarship thing for Brat #1.

That's if I decide to have kids. Or don't have any accidents.

Correct Answer for #21: Venezuela

Pictured is Mount Roraima. The world's tallest waterfall, Angel Falls (hint), cascades off a different "tepui" mountain known as Auyantepui. But the strange tepuis are a feature of the Venezuelan highlands.

"Mystery Player X" has been first on each of the past two questions and is quickly closing the gap on Fieldshowqueen.

 OH MY!! Whatever shall I do!!! LOL
Like I said waaaaaaayyyyyyyyy ^ and many pages ago ... "winning" is not the object in my mind ... if I lose I lose ... but it's not a contest without some competition. I'm learning a lot and hope someday to visit some of these places.
BTW ... Yesterday was pure hell so I didn't even get a chance to really research this last question. :(

Only one correct answer so far. For those of you who didn't get the clue, try rereading the "Humor: Orchestration for the Modern Wind Ensemble" thread.

Hint #2: you're looking at a national park.
