Awesome! My "booth time" is Friday and Saturday, 1:00-6:00 and Sunday 10:00-2:00. I'll be doing loads of Sibelius demos across from the Pro Tools main Stage.

We should all pick a place and meet. Maybe after the Kingsmen performance?

The wife and I will be at the NAMM show on Friday/Saturday. I have never missed a NAMM show in Anaheim or LA since they began... old, aren't I?

The couple of years it was in LA had its ups and downs. Some of the surprise shows in Hollywood were incredible. I remember we ended up at The Rainbow and hung out with Lemmy from Motorhead. From that point on the night blurred into a haze. Vore, if you have any pictures from the very early days of the NAMM show, I would love to see them. Just to see what it first looked like to what it has become.

The absolute worst things from the couple of LA NAMM Conventions were:

1) the price of parking and then walking for many blocks, and
2) the price and bad quality of food in the LA Convention Center.

The most fun we had at the LA NAMM Convention was the time the wife and I had lunch with the drummer from Blondie... lot's of funny stories - he actually was in a D&B Corps in his youth. It was almost as much fun as the time we had lunch with Pancho Sanchez... two years ago my wife introduced me to an old friend of hers... Doc Severinsen. I was speechless, and for me... that is difficult.

As to the early NAMM Conventions, most photos were tintypes... you could actually walk and see all of the displays in one afternoon! Not anymore... now you need at least two if not three full days to see everything. We usually plan out our "treasure map" the day before we attend.

There was this little Italian bistro just past the convention center that was pretty decent. We wanted to eat at the Fox Sports bar abd grill thingy but was waaaay too crowded. Anaheim has a much better venue for the show.

The best part for us is the NAMM Convention is only 2 miles from our home...
