The greatest football game ever played. The last two minutes of this game had more excitement than most NHL seasons.

1984 Olympic Ice Dancing Freestyle Finals
Arguably not a true "sport", but the ONLY couple ever to score a perfect 6 from all judges. This would be similar to any band or winter guard team getting a perfect 100. (... and yes, I watched this one too *sigh*)

I could really give a crap about "ice dancing," but even I'll admit that was pretty cool. All their movements were so fluid, no hitches or catches, and they were perfectly in sync with one another.fieldshowqueen wrote:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t2zbbN4OL98

ESPN ranked this as one of the Top 10 or Top 20 gutsiest sports performances of all-time. To get up there a second time with what turned out to be a pretty significant ankle sprain and drive it into the ground again for the sake of the gold medal takes quite a bit of mental fortitude.

Yeah ... I'm not one for ice dancing, ice skating or gymnastics, but that one just stuck in my head as one of those "Classic Sports Moments".Hostrauser wrote:I could really give a crap about "ice dancing," but even I'll admit that was pretty cool.
