Okay I'm like a tomboy minus the sports thing. Wierd I know but still, I do NOT want some guy to take me to a rose filled cafe and read me Shakespeare. First of all, Shakespeare wrote half of his love sonnets to a man and I'd think that the guy was secretly hoping I was a transvestite. Second of all, it depends on the kind of poetry. Something stupid but still sweet like:
Roses are red
Violets are blue
You're pretty
And I love you
Is kind of adorable. But that's just me. Just be yourself, and if the girl is going to cry over you because you read her a poem... get the hell away from her before she names your children.
Uh-oh for life!
EAT THE FREAKIN COOKIE!!!
I can't get my fat ass off the ground.
Because God said I could be a super ninja.

Writing poetry to get women?

*ahem*

Spiders are irritating,
So are ants.
Gosh you're pretty,
Take off your pants.

This is probably indicative of why I didn't have a girlfriend until after I graduated High School. :D

That could be interpreted a number of different ways... :D

Yes, I know, I'm juvenile. I make no apologies for it.

Thats it, I'm saying no more! I've only made things worse!

So go get one. Not that hard. Guys are easy.

Oh, did you mean a GOOD man?

Best of luck, then.

Seriously ... guys are easy if you're looking for, uhm, a 'quick lay' or make out buddy, but when it comes to finding a guy who will want to get into a relationship, and STAY in a relationship (without cheating, mind you) - good luck sista!
It all seemed so much easier in jr high/high school. They wanted to sit next to you and go to movies and hold your hand ... now they're wanting the whole 'no strings attached' deal and I'm not having it. GrRrR ... :x
