I'd hardly call Apple a "small company," they are a Fortune 500 company currently ranked 121 out of 500. I'd also hardly call a program such as iTunes a small program, it's the most used digital media player application. Or maybe you were referring to their OS? I guess I need to point out that Mac has been steadily taking market shares from Microsoft for the past 5 years or so. The reason Apple's computers cost more is because they don't let third party companies make the hardware. Therefore, just like with everything else, you get what you pay for. Much, much, much higher quality than you get with your $600 HP from Walmart. According to surveys by J. D. Power, Apple has the highest brand and repurchase loyalty of any computer manufacturer. Why? Because once you experience how much better their products are you won't go back. Market research indicates that Apple draws its customer base from an unusually artistic, creative, and well-educated population, which may explain the platform’s visibility within certain youthful, avant-garde subcultures.

Amen Brother! and Pro Audio programs run much smoother. Too bad Apple TV is a bust, glad I waited.

Soooooooooooooooooooo....ABOUT PYWARE!?!?!?!?

Geeeeesh...Pyware is not without its faults, that's for sure. They suck you into making your client director "buy" a "reader" program, and then make the designer upload their design to the Pyware website and then the director can view the drill directly with animation. A bunch of crap in my book. I now have Camstasia Video Suite, make a Quicktime movie, send it to You Send It because it's typically too big to send by email, the director goes to the link, and voila, they have animation AND sound. No purchase necessary. I think Pyware does a great DISservice by forcing me to pay REALLY BIG BUCKS for their program (which is fine--whatever), but then nickle and diming my client. BAD mojo. So I bypass them and take care of it myself.

Oh no...they know. They have no say what I do and how I run my business. I just hate their business model, and I've let them know about it. $189 for an upgrade to the next version???? PLEASE. It's a great tool...but...

 Making a common mistake is not the same as being ignorant. Which I believe is what you were trying to imply.
