go for the 2400+ cuz it's performing better in ghettomark03 (my bro's benchtest) better than my 2500+. both arent bad tho but it seems the 2400+ is better. i need a nice flat pannel too it's easier to lug around at LAN parties with my heavy case.

with the radeon 9700 pro wait to buy it a while because the 9500 is going out of phase and 9700pro prices will be dropping soon

I just built one as well...

AMD Athlon XP 2600+ Processor
=2.0 GHz
=333 MHz FSB

ASUS Mother board
=333 MHz Bus Speed
=4 + 2 USB 2.0 ports
=2 built-in LAN ports

512 MB PC-2700 DDR-RAM x 2 = 1.24 GB of RAM

ATI Radeon 9600 PRO 4x/8x AGP Card
=128MB Memory
=500 MhZ processor speed

Sound Blaster Audigy 2 Platinum Sound Card
=6.0 Surround support

420W ~ 120V Power supply

cost me about 1/3 of the cost of a comparable system from Dell or gateway...
Back to my training...

:maul:

SithScorp out...

i also got my new speakers! w00t they are the monsoon Planermedia 14 (2.1 speaker system) they are awesome and extremely flat (about 1cm) the subwoofer is 100watts and can easily fill up a small-medium size room. I played sandunga through these things! WOW. great speakers i love em soud quality is excellent even through built in sound in my motherboard (PC). just need to get an audigy2.

Reviews say that these speakers make mp3s sound bad! unless u use cds or rip on high bitrates.

1 of the best 2.1 PC speakers available. can someone show me how to add pics to my post so i can show em off!

Yeah, mine was made about 2 mths ago.

cant remember waht is in it, but the new speakers I got are rockin'. They are logitech 5.1. Man, the sub alone rocks, but then I have surround sound. Not to mention that I just got DSL installed into my house, and that means my room.

To add images just use the Img button when you post. Between the Img tags you put the address of where your pics are.
