He might not have, but does it really matter? Hoffman gave up two runs and had men on base without recording a single out. Even if Holliday is out at home, there's only one out and men are still in scoring position. The game was over.JediMasterBando wrote:I have to say that last play was a little iffy. I don't think I've EVER counted the pimples on the neck of the guy in front of me. yucko.formermarcher wrote:Meh, Baseball. I guess you haven't been to Petco Park. The neck in front of you is at knee-level: you have to go out of your way to count zits. But hey, if that's what floats your boat.formermarcher wrote:Meh, Baseball. I couldn't agree more. There's just something about sitting in the sunshine of a warm afternoon, eating a hot dog, and trying to remember how to keep score on a scorecard while a great game of baseball is going on. My temple is Wrigley Field, but I've been very impressed with Petco Park so far. It doesn't seem like there's really a bad seat in the place. For the past few years I've gone to at least one game while the Cubs are in town in May. I even skipped my Senior Prom to go to a game with my sister.Hostrauser wrote: I know baseball's an acquired taste, but it will always be #1 in my book.
I'm not sure this is something I would readily admit in public.JediMasterBando wrote:I even skipped my Senior Prom to go to a game with my sister.
I skipped my Senior Prom because I looked at the price tag that went along with it and said, "**** that." I don't regret my decision.mkosbie wrote:I'm not sure this is something I would readily admit in public.JediMasterBando wrote:I even skipped my Senior Prom to go to a game with my sister.
I proudly admit it in public... I guess it's just part of being a true Cubs fan.mkosbie wrote:I'm not sure this is something I would readily admit in public.JediMasterBando wrote:I even skipped my Senior Prom to go to a game with my sister.

That's kinda funny, since I can't stand the NBA. I like college basketball well enough (mostly because I love playing in pep band and getting to be obnoxious I think ), I just never really got into it at the pro level. The Aceman wrote: Here's a list of my Fav. sports to watch, in order:
Basketball (NBA only)
NASCAR
Football (NFL and NCAA)
