Wrong. It's a movie with Evan Rachel Wood and some other C-list actors:
http://movies.yahoo.com/movie/1809233810/info
"A romantic musical told mainly through numerous Beatles songs performed by the characters."
Nothing about this film looks remotely interesting to me except for the fact that it's directed by Julie Taymor. She directed the Broadway version of "The Lion King" along with the movies "Frida" and (the badly underrated) "Titus."

Ha! The "C-list" reference actually made me laugh. I think I know the reason that I hadn't heard of this one.Hostrauser wrote:Wrong. It's a movie with Evan Rachel Wood and some other C-list actors:

Ok, talk about a sharp right in the convo...armastice wrote:soz to stray off the topic, but has anybody seen wicked? my friend asked to go with her, but im never seen a musical, and if it sucks, im probably not goin to another musical for the rest of my life
Yes, Wicked would be very much worth it. Unless you are like the people that were next to me when I saw it. The girl would not shut up and was complaining the whole first act about it "being stupid" and how it was "gay" and "lame". Thank god the woman dragged her BF (who looked like he was into the show) away so as to allow us to enjoy the whole second act in a nicer setting.
So, all in all, if you are going to see a stage musical, Wicked is one of the better ones out there. But then I seem to have some underlying like for musicals, so I like all the ones that I have seen. Wicked, Mama Mia!, The Producers, ect... I loved em all. And I was mad when we didn't get tix for the Lion King or Phantom when it was in town. Grrrr...
So, back to your regularly scheduled topic now.

Yeah it's probably easier to get Yankees World Series tickets than it is to get tickets to see Wicked on Broadway.FluteOfTheNewWorld wrote:I want to see it.. it's supposed to be amazing.
