ok, since i couldnt really put this poll in the color guard or marching band section, i'm putting it here.

i love to spin and stuff but i mean im a girl and band boys are very nice and not many do gurad so yeah but guard is still awsome just no band boys

Can't compare the two.
Both express emotion and project it to the audience but through different means. Bands use instruments and guard uses movement.

Well, since I'm in band and not guard I guess I'd have to go towards band.
Can I choose both?

Okay so I can't play an instrument but I really really really like field season. Winter guard is just too much girl for me. I mean seeing the same girls 3 or 4 times a week is really too much. Plus, girls are catty. So I choose guard because I don't think I could handle marching band with the visuals that Trabuco does.

Hey... hey girly girls... speaking of seeing the same ladies three or four times a week, you ever notice that when u have a big group of girls (i.e.- a guard) that meets often and in long increments (i.e.- rehearsals) pms kind of aligns within all of the girls?
Well, i have... shoot, its difficult not to notice when the whole guard beats up on the two guys...

yeah, about that whole PMS thing with all the girls, it's actually scientifically proven that when a group of girls are around each other often, they will start to "align". yeah I read that somewhere. its probably a little more than you would have cared to know, but i was just letting you know, it's not just your imagination.

I've been in Orchestra, Band and Color Guard, so i wouldnt say im biast, as ive tried both sides....
but i LOVE GUARD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
