I'll find out tonight.

I'm doing okay. I seem to be floating in the middle of the Division III pack. Music scores are real good, visual scores are low. Morale's back up to 90%. I would like to finish in the Top 20 in the division this year, I don't know how far my show design can take me.

I have new uniforms from Brent W. Becker (Blue Stars designer) that I'm waiting to unveil at National Prelims.

I already have my Season X show planned out. It's going to rule.

I got 71.00 today and 3rd place in Div. 1! That's my best finish yet! I'm looking foward to finals!

Two more competitions for me, both in Florida. Wednesday (9/5) and Saturday (9/8). I'm just cramming every hour I can into Music, Music Effect, and moral. Screw visual.

At least I have a better idea of how to design my show in the system next season. And I've got an awesome show already waiting in the wings.

I'll post our new uniforms here early next week.

Both my band and my drum corps are doing fairly well. Both just placed second at their last show. 4 shows left until Prelims :)

By the way, how does one start a Fantasy Winter Guard?

First, one waits for the Fantasy Winter Guard season to start... ;)

I'm not sure. I do know that FWG is still handled individually: it's not automated (YET) like the bands are on the site. I'm sure we'll get more info later this month.

I was wondering... does anyone know how many points each catergory is out of? I thought music was out of 25 but then today someone got a 26.9 or something so I was just wondering....

Music - 30.0
Visual - 30.0
Music Effect - 20.0
Visual Effect - 20.0

Oh yes. The Aviators were up in the mid-80s last I checked. Storm and a couple of other D3 units are in the 80s, also. Keep in mind there's usually only 12-15 bands that make it into the 90s, I believe. Also realize that the competition season ends tomorrow, but the prelims don't start until Wednesday. I believe everyone will get hours for that gap. And I believe that Finals aren't until the 15th. I believe the bands that qualify will get hours between Prelims and Finals, too. So there's still a lot of growth to be had.

Division III is killer. My group jumped from 66.xx last Saturday to 70.20 on Wednesday... took High Music... and still placed 9th in the division.

I think that everyone makes it into prelims...

One thing i realized is that some of the tournaments have like 15 bands in each catergory with really tough competition and then others have like 4 bands in them...
