The only problem I have with mine are the gloves... the metal on instruments can rip them very easily...

On one of my uniforms, the little clip that fastens the collar would never stay fastened. I've also had a shako that would slowly start falling off, which was really annoying since I couldn't fix it otherwise the judges would see, so I had to try to keep my head at the right angle so it didn't fall. I hate shakos.

In middle school, the guard got new crushed velvet uniforms.
Getting into them before comp one day, they all ripped at the seams! 4 band moms furiously sewed all of us into our uniforms. funny memories...

My freshman year, the jacket of my uniform was way too tight. It wasn't fun wearing that thing.

Rose Parade 2001. I was trying to figure out how to hide my camel water pack. They should have water break points along the route cuz SoCal sun + Unis = hot as !@#$. Anywho I finally just left my nozzle hang out and took a drink whenever I got thirsty.

My sophmore year during a competition I was marching across the field, and one of the trumpet players that I was marching infront of hit my hat and it fell down some over my eyes and I couldn't see the DM, and was barely able to find my spots the rest of the song. Luckly I was able to fix it and finish the show.

they did not...stop making up stories. I've had a button come off before. You know, the ones on the side that keep the flap connected to the actual jacket, a saftey pin saved the day!!!
